Rainmaker – The Meta Is Shifting

Since the release of the Rainmaker mode in BO6, I’ve noticed a significant shift in the game’s meta. If you want to get the  Rainmaker, U4GM offers this COD BO6 Gift CP, you can check it out!Traditional playstyles, like rushing and camping, don’t hold the same weight as they used to. Instead, the focus is now on holding key positions, controlling the Rainmaker, and working as a team to make sure the power-ups you get from the item are put to good use.

What’s really interesting is the way Rainmaker influences the pacing of the match. When you first start, the game has this calm-before-the-storm feel as both teams fight to secure the artifact. But once someone grabs the Rainmaker, it’s a non-stop struggle to control it and keep your team alive. It feels like a tug-of-war—one side gets an advantage, but it can be taken away at any moment if you aren’t careful.

But beyond that, the balance of power in Rainmaker shifts with every objective. Unlike other modes where a kill streak might guarantee a team victory, the Rainmaker requires constant attention to the flow of the match. One player can’t just dominate by getting kills—they need to be effective at controlling space and securing objectives. I’ve noticed that players are now more focused on securing high-ground positions, controlling key chokepoints, and using UAVs or radar jammers effectively to make sure they know where the enemy is at all times.

As a result, this mode has breathed new life into the game. Everyone is forced to adapt and play in more creative ways. The days of being able to predict exactly how a match will go based on one or two players are gone. The outcome is up in the air until that final moment when the Rainmaker is either destroyed or delivered to the home base.
